Video Calibration

ISF Video Calibration: $350 Includes calibration of display light output, contrast ratio, color level, resolution, color management system, gamma, projector focus, projector alignment, 3D mode optimization, high dynamic range (HDR) mode calibration, correct all video sources present, ISFccc calibration of Day and Night and 3D modes (if desired) and limited audio/video equipment purchase advice before and after the service. This also includes a detailed report in pdf format of before and after measurements, source settings and display settings. This excludes CRT projection systems. (allow 3 hours to complete)

ISF Video Calibration of Projector Shipped To Us: $250 Includes calibration of display light output, contrast ratio, color level, resolution, color management system, gamma, 3D mode optimization, high dynamic range (HDR) mode calibration, information on how to correct video sources, 3D modes if desired and limited audio/video equipment purchase advice before and after the service. This also includes a detailed report in pdf format of before and after measurements, source settings and display settings. This excludes CRT projection systems. You pay for shipping and insurance both directions.

Audio Calibration

THX Audio Calibration: $300 Includes verifying the wiring, verifying equipment is not defective, adjusting channel levels, speaker alignment, speaker timing, subwoofer settings, subwoofer phase, crossover optimization, gain matching subwoofer preamplifiers to audio preamp and manual equalization of speakers and subwoofers. This also includes a detailed report in pdf format of settings and measurements. (allow 3 hours to complete)

THX Audio Calibration & Optimization: $400 Includes everything in the THX Audio Calibration service above while adding an audio improvement plan including room treatment and potential equipment upgrades. Click here for an example room treatment plan. (allow 4 hours to complete)

Audio and Video Calibration

Basic Home Theater Calibration: $450 Recommended for any home theater system with a Denon, Integra, Marantz, Onkyo or Pioneer surround system. Includes ISF calibration of a video display as described above. The audio service includes verifying the wiring, adjusting channel levels, speaker alignment, speaker timing, subwoofer settings, subwoofer phase, crossover optimization and manual graphic equalization of speakers. Includes a detailed report in pdf format of before and after measurements, source settings, receiver/processor settings, subwoofer settings and display settings. (allow 5 hours to complete)

Superior Home Theater Calibration: $500 Recommended for someone who wants more information on audio performance and has a surround system. Includes everything the basic calibration option has and adds manual parametric equalization of the subwoofer, room acoustical analysis and documentation of the changes to the frequency response. (allow 5.5 hours to complete)

Advanced Home Theater Calibration: $600 Includes everything in the superior calibration plus manual parametric equalization of all speakers as found in Yamaha, Emotiva and Classe´ SSP-800 products. (allow 6 hours to complete)

Advanced Home Theater Calibration & Optimization: $700 Includes everything in the advanced calibration and adds an audio improvement plan including room treatment and potential equipment upgrades. (allow 7 hours to complete)

Other Services

Program Harmony Remote: $100 Up to 8 devices and 6 activities.  High speed internet is required.  Will setup ID and password if desired. This is not available without audio or video calibration. (allow 1 hour to complete)

Audyssey Pro License: $150 is required for an audio calibration using an Audyssey Pro license which is purchased from Audyssey. This will be billed at cost.

External Scaler Color Management Setup: $150 Includes color calibration of an external video scaler like that found in a RadianceXD. (allow 1 hour to complete)

Audio/Video Consultation And Design: Includes a wide range of audio and video design including equipment selection and room acoustics. $100/hr

System Tune-up: $100/hr Readjust display color, gamma and light output caused by aging for an AccuCal calibrated display. Setup new audio and video sources or speakers.

Travel Costs

You are local to me if you are within 70 miles of the 65049 zip code. Regular tours add $150 for travel. Non-local and non-tour travel costs are quoted on an individual basis.
